Hickory All-State WR Jamien Little commits to Wake Forest
The Wake Forest University football program received good news on Wednesday afternoon. The Demon Deacons picked up a huge commitment from in-state class of 2025 wide receiver Jamien Little.
The Hickory High School standout helped lead the Red Tornadoes to a 3A state championship victory in 2023. Hickory defeated Seventy-First by a score of 33-26 to finish off its perfect 16-0 season. Little had nice receptions for 133 yards in the game.
Little was named to the 2023 HighSchoolOT All-State Football Team as a second team selection. He recorded 70 receptions for 1,372 yards and 20 touchdowns during his junior season.
Wake Forest picked up its first in-state commitment in the class of 2025 over the weekend with Providence Day defensive back Braxton Winston. Little is the second player from North Carolina in the Demon Deacons’ 2025 roundup.
Other schools were after Little. He held offers from NC State (his first), Virginia Tech, Coastal Carolina, Charlotte, Georgia State, East Carolina, Duke, Liberty, James Madison, UConn, Old Dominion, Troy, and Buffalo.
He is a 3-star prospect according to On3 and Rivals. On3 has Little ranked as the No. 13 prospect in North Carolina for the class of 2025. He is listed at 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds.
