The initial stage of the N.C. High School Athletic Association’s boys and girls basketball state playoffs will take place on Tuesday evening, with all games being held at the location of the team with the higher seed.

The winners from Tuesday evening will progress to the second round on Friday, which will also take place at the higher-ranked team’s venue.
