Grace Christian of Sanford takes No. 1 in final girls basketball rankings for 2024-25

Grace Christian of Sanford ends the year as No. 1 team in HighSchoolOT’s statewide high school girls basketball statewide rankings for the 2024-25 season.

The Crusaders have won four straight N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association championships, including this year’s 3A title. This is the second year in a row that Grace has finished No. 1 in the HighSchoolOT girls basketball rankings.

Grace Christian is followed by N.C. High School Athletic Association 4A champ Lake Norman, NCISAA 4A champ Cannon School, 1A champ Cherokee, and Bishop McGuinness.

Former No. 1 teams include Grace Christian of Sanford (2024), Panther Creek (2023), and Chambers twice (2022 and 2021).

3A champ Western Alamance is ninth.
