Girls Golf Rankings: Pinecrest, Durham Academy start preseason atop HSOT Top 25
HighSchoolOT has released its preseason girls golf rankings for the 2024 North Carolina high school season.
Pinecrest, which brings back three of its four HSOT all-state players from a year ago, starts the year ranked No. 1 in the state.
In second is another defending champ, Durham Academy of the independent schools association.
Marvin Ridge, which finished last year ranked fourth, is third, while The O’Neal School, which won the NCISAA DII title, is ranked fourth. The top-ranked 3A team is No. 22 Croatan while the top-ranked 1A/2A squad is defending champion No. 18 Pine Lake Prep.
The final HSOT rankings are released the week after the state championships.
