On Monday night, Notre Dame’s Hannah Hidalgo earned 23 points, while Maddy Westbeld contributed 14 points and nine rebounds. As a result, No. 19 Notre Dame defeated Duke with a score of 70-62.

Reigan Richardson was the top scorer for Duke (16-9, 8-6) with a total of 23 points. Taina Mair contributed 12 points and Jadyn Donovan had 10 points and eight rebounds. The Blue Devils had the lowest average points allowed in the ACC at 57.8 points per game.

During the first half, Richardson contributed 12 points to Duke’s lead of 30-27. Hidalgo also aided Notre Dame’s performance with 11 points.

On Thursday, the Fighting Irish will play against Clemson at their home turf. Meanwhile, Duke will face off against No. 17 Syracuse in the third game of their four-game stretch against top 25 ranked teams.
