Michael Gibbs, a junior offensive tackle at Hoggard High School, has received a verbal offer from Duke University. This marks his seventh offer overall and fourth from a university within his home state.

In August, Gibbs received his initial offer from Coastal Carolina University. Since then, he has also been offered by East Carolina, Old Dominion, NC State, Appalachian State, and Penn State in that specific order.

The player playing as the offensive tackle has a height of 6 feet and 4 inches and weighs 265 pounds.

Gibbs was recognized for his strong performance during the season and was selected as a third team member for the HighSchoolOT All-State Football Team.
