Duke University announced Tuesday it would announce nine new members into the school’s Athletics Hall of Fame.
The enshrinement ceremony is set for Oct. 25. The athletes picked for induction include:
- Women’s basketball player Monique Currie
- Men’s lacrosse coach John Danowski
- Men’s lacrosse player Matt Danowski
- Women’s golfer Anna Grzebien Vanderlinde
- Women’s diver Abby Johnston McGrath
- Baseball and football player Quinton McCracken
- Football player Chris Port
- Men’s basketball player JJ Redick
- Women’s fencer Becca Ward
In July, Duke plans to announce ticket information to the Oct. 25 event.
The Duke Athletics Hall of Fame currently has 154 members.
