Isaiah Deloatch, a junior at Hillside High School, has received his first verbal offer for a scholarship. The offer came from Duke University, which is located in his hometown.

Deloatch is recorded as being 6 feet and 1 inch tall, weighing 206 pounds.

In 2023, Deloatch, a junior, was recognized for his contribution of 53 tackles, 8.5 tackles resulting in a loss, 1.5 sacks, one interception, and one fumble recovery. The previous year, in 2022, he recorded 51 tackles, an interception, and successfully blocked a punt.

Since Deloatch joined the varsity team, Hillside has achieved a record of 19-6.

The Hornets had a 6-5 record last fall and claimed their third consecutive DAC-VI Conference championship.
