The Duke men’s basketball team will play at New York City’s Madison Square Garden – its home away from home – for the 60th time this season.
The Blue Devils and Illinois will meet in the SentinelOne Classic on Feb. 22, 2025, the school announced Tuesday.
Including the Illinois game, Duke has played at least one game at MSG in 11 of the last 12 seasons and 21 of the last 23 seasons.
Duke has 41 wins at MSG.
The Blue Devils are expected to be one of the top teams in the nation, led by five-star recruit Cooper Flagg. Guards Tyrese Proctor and Caleb Foster return along with four transfers and a star-studded recruiting class behind Flagg, including Khaman Malauch, who played for South Sudan in the Olympics.
Duke is scheduled to play non-conference games against Kentucky, Arizona, Kansas and Auburn in addition to Illinois. Kansas and Kentucky are at neutral sites.
