Davie County emerges victorious in 4A wrestling tournament, with Cam Stinson from Mallard Creek named Most Outstanding Wrestler (MOW).

On Saturday, Davie County continued their success in wrestling by winning the N.C. High School Athletic Association team tournament championship after already earning the dual-team title.

The War Eagles scored a total of 100 points, narrowly beating out Lumberton by four points for the runner-up spot. Overall, Davie County had five wrestlers place in the state tournament, with one of them becoming a champion.

Cameron Stinson from Mallard Creek received the Most Outstanding Wrestler award for his exceptional performance. He has made history as one of only three wrestlers in the state to achieve four titles and maintain a perfect record throughout his entire career.
