Charlotte Catholic has risen to the number one spot in statewide rankings for Boys Lacrosse.

A highly anticipated match during the second week of the season has resulted in a change in the No. 1 ranking for the HighSchoolOT statewide boys lacrosse standings.

After emerging victorious at Cannon School, Charlotte Catholic has taken over the first place position. Meanwhile, Cardinal Gibbons moves up to second and Cannon falls to fifth.

The Gators from Green Level achieved a significant victory against Lake Norman, resulting in their rise to fourth place. The Wildcats maintain their spot in the top 10, ranking at number 7.

This week, four new teams have joined: Charlotte Country Day, Myers Park, Community School of Davidson, and Ardrey Kell have taken the places of Northwood, Hoggard, Apex, and R.J. Reynolds.
