Carolina Panthers second-year quarterback Bryce Young is rated as the NFL’s 28th best quarterback in the new “Madden NFL 25” video game.
The game rated Young as a 73 overall in its ratings release of quarterbacks on Friday.
Out of a 100-point scale, Young is rated:
- 87 speed
- 54 strength
- 84 agility
- 75 jump
- 87 injury
- 83 stamina
Fellow second-year quarterback C.J. Stroud is rated 81 overall. The Panthers selected Young with the first overall pick of the 2023 NFL Draft and the Houston Texans selected Stroud with the second pick.
Here is a look at how other NFC South quarterbacks are rated:
- Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins: 84 overall
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield: 79 overall
- New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr: 75 overall
Young’s backup, Andy Dalton, is listed as a 72 overall.
Young’s rating in the latest version of “Madden” is lower than his 74 overall rating at the start of his rookie year.
The Panthers kick off their preseason on Aug. 8 against the New England Patriots. Carolina kicks off the regular season on Sept. 8 against the Saints.
“Madden NFL 25” is due out on Aug. 13.
