The matchups and schedule for the N.C. High School Athletic Association boys tennis dual-team championships are now set.

Champions will be crowned on Monday at the Burlington Tennis Center. The 1A and 3A championships will start at 9 a.m., with the 2A and 4A championships starting at 12:30 p.m.

The matches were moved from Saturday due to storms in the forecast for most of the day.

In 1A and 2A, there are defending state champs going up against first-time finalists.

In 1A, Elkin is the defending champ going against newcomer Triangle Math & Science, while in 2A, it’s Pine Lake Prep going for a repeat against first-timer Franklin Academy.

In 3A, both Fike and South Point are making their first championship appearances. Both teams dethroned last year’s finalists in the West regional final.

In 4A, it’s a repeat of last year’s championship between Green Hope and Providence. Green Hope won last year’s title.
