Boozer twins, 5-star basketball recruits, pick Duke :: WRALSportsFan.com
Durham, N.C. — Highly sought-after recruits Cameron and Cayden Boozer are headed to Duke.
The two are following in their father’s footsteps in becoming Blue Devils for the 2025-2026 season.
The twin brothers are the sons of former NBA All-Star and Duke legend Carlos Boozer. Cameron and Cayden had narrowed their choice to between Duke and Miami and made their pick official on Friday morning.
247Sports lists Cameron Boozer as the No. 2 recruit in the 2025 class behind AJ Dybantsa. The site ranks Cayden Boozer as the No. 21 prospect in the class. The two are the first commitments to Duke for the 2025 class and figure to be catalysts for Jon Scheyer’s team.
“Cameron Crazies, be ready for next season,” Cayden Boozer said in an announcement video posted to X (formerly Twitter).
Carlos Boozer played at Duke from 1999 to 2002, helping Duke win a national championship in 2001. He played 13 seasons in the NBA and was a two-time All-Star with Utah. Boozer averaged 16.2 points and 9.5 rebounds per game across 861 regular-season games.
Duke had the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation for 2024, led by Cooper Flagg, Khaman Maluach and Kon Knueppel.
