Elon University’s football program added another commitment from an in-state class of 2025 prospect last week. Ardrey Kell High School wide receiver Ben Kirsch announced his pledge to Elon on his X account on July 5.

During his recruitment, Kirsch reported a preferred walk-on offer from Charlotte and offers from Maine, Georgetown, Marshall, NC A&T, and Elon.

Kirsch is listed at 6-foot-4 and 190 pounds. He has reported a 40-yard dash time of 4.6 seconds and a broad jump of nine feet, eight inches.

The receiver broke out during his junior season with 61 receptions for 853 yards and eight touchdowns. As a sophomore, he had 22 receptions for 190 yards and two touchdowns.

Ardrey Kell finished the 223 season with a 7-4 overall record and made the N.C. High School Athletic Association’s 4A West playoffs, where the Knights fell on the road at West Forsyth in the first round.
