A video on social media seems to depict David Tepper, the owner of the Panthers, pouring a beverage on fans of the Jaguars.
The Carolina Panthers had a difficult Sunday, experiencing a significant 26-0 defeat at the hands of the Jacksonville Jaguars. This may only be the start of owner David Tepper’s troubles.
A clip has emerged on social media showing Tepper allegedly pouring a beverage onto Jaguars fans below his box. Tepper then tosses the plastic cup aside and exits the video frame. A spokesperson for the Panthers declined to comment on WRAL’s request. According to ESPN, the NFL is aware of the video but has no statement at this time.
Carolina’s recent loss marks the first time they have been unable to score since 2002. This brings their season record to 2-14 and secures them the lowest rank in the league. Tepper and the Panthers’ management made a trade to acquire Bryce Young in the 2023 NFL Draft. As a result, Chicago will now have Carolina’s first overall pick in this year’s draft.
In 2018, Tepper acquired the Panthers. Since then, he has let go of three head coaches and the team has a record of 31-67 under his leadership.
