The pairings have been determined for the 2023 football state playoffs organized by the N.C. High School Athletic Association.

The schedule for the football state playoffs is listed round-by-round:

• November 3 – Initial match at the location of the higher ranked team.

• On November 10, there will be a second round at the higher seeded team’s location.

• On November 17th, the third round will take place at the location of the higher seeded team.

• On November 24th, the fourth round will be held at the location of the higher seed.

• On December 1st, the regional championships will take place at the location of the higher seeded team.

• On December 8 and 9, the state championships will be held at both NC State and UNC.

The NCHSAA will release the schedule for the state championships at NC State and UNC after the regional championships.
