Welcoming their rivals at Benteler-Arena, Paderborn are a German club that will compete in the Bundesliga in the 2019/2020 season. The club played their first ever match in the German top flight on August 24, 2019, with the team sharing the spoils with Mainz (2-2) in front of home fans.

Benteler-Arena can hold up to 15,000 spectators and it was opened on July 20, 2008. Paderborn play their home matches in blue and black shirts and black shirts, but white is the dominant colour of their away kit.
