After failing to win the previous four league matches, Real Oviedo will look to return to winning ways when they take on Almeria in the Segunda Division round 9. Los Azules have been involved in some low-scoring games of late and they are likely to adopt yet another defence-minded approach against the Andalusian outfit. There are no fresh injury worries in the home team.

Almeria, on the other hand, quickly bounced back from a 4-2 loss to Levante, with the team beating Burgos 2-0 in front of home fans. Almeria, though, have been struggling on the travels of late, losing to both Eldense and Levante in the last two away games and that is the main reason why home win should be considered. Adding to their woes, forward Sergio Arribas is banned for the visiting side, while defender Marc Pubill is out of contention with a knee injury.

UD Almeria is a Spanish club based in the autonomous community of Andalusia. Los Rojiblancos are one of the newer additions to the Spanish football system, with the club being founded on July 26, 1989.

Almeria suffered relegation to Segunda Division in the 2014/15 season, and they have been competing in the Spanish second tier ever since. Los Rojiblancos are well known for their white shirts with red stripes, while blue is the dominant colour of their away jersey. Sofiane Feghouli, Felipe Melo, Diego Alves, Veljko Paunovic, Aleix Vidal, Alvaro Negredo, Tomer Hemed, and Mate Bilic are some notable footballers who played for Almeria in the past. Fellow Andalusian clubs Sevilla, Malaga, and Granada are considered the club’s fiercest rivals.
