Our forecast for the upcoming League 1 game:

Derby

Derby

Charlton

Charlton

Derby County is looking to rectify their previous 2-1 defeat against Barnsley as they face Charlton Athletic in a postponed League One match. The team is determined to secure their spot in the automatic promotion zone and is expected to take an offensive approach in Tuesday’s game. New player Dwight Gale, who joined in January, is vying for a starting position. Jake Rooney, Craig Forsyth, Tyreece John-Jules, Conor Washington, and James Collins are still recovering from injuries. Corey Blackett-Taylor and Martyn Waghorn are doubtful to play.

However, the team from the capital is currently in a precarious position, with only a one-point lead over the bottom four. Charlton Athletic has only managed to win one game away from home this season and we do not think they will be able to disrupt Derby County’s home advantage at Pride Park. Miles Leaburn and Kayne Ramsay will not be available due to injuries, and Lloyd Jones and Macaulay Gillesphey are uncertain to play due to injury concerns.

The game will take place on February 27th, 2024 at 8:45 PM.

Prediction:
1-0

Highlighted Team (Charlton):

Charlton

The football team Charlton Athletic, hailing from London, will once again participate in the 2019/2020 season of the Championship league. Established in 1905, the team plays their home matches at the Valley stadium, which has a capacity of 28,111 seats. The team wears red shirts and white shorts for their home games, and their away kit is primarily black in color.

The Red Robins’ victory in the 1946/1947 FA Cup is seen as the team’s greatest achievement. In the final match, they beat Burnley 1-0, with Chris Duffy scoring the winning goal in extra time for Jimmy Seed’s team.

Crystal Palace and Millwall, two other teams from the capital, are considered to be Charlton’s biggest rivals. One of the most well-known football players to have played for Charlton is Samuel Bartram, who made 579 appearances for the club. After not competing for three years, the London-based club will now be playing in the English second division for the 2019/2020 season.
