After securing a 2-0 victory against Cameroon, Nigeria aims to continue their winning streak in the Africa Cup of Nations quarter-finals against Angola. The team hopes to maintain their strong defence and achieve their fourth consecutive clean sheet in the upcoming match on Friday. However, there may be a change in goalkeeping as Stanley Nwabali sustained an injury during the previous game and Francis Uzoho may take his place.

The team Las Palancas Negras has been performing exceptionally well at the Ivory Coast tournament and are definitely capable of competing against the Nigerians at Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny. Overall, it is expected to be a closely contested game and we believe that betting on a draw offers great value. On October 7, 2017, the Arsenal soccer player secured a goal for Nigeria against Zambia (1-0), ultimately leading the Super Eagles to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals. In terms of his personal achievements, Alex Iwobi was awarded the title of CAF Young Player of the Year in 2016.

The team, known as the Palancas Negras, is a member of both CAF and COSAFA and plays their home games at Estadio 11 de Novembro. The African team competed against Portugal, Mexico, and Iran in Group D. They tied with Iran and Mexico but lost to Portugal. The Palancas Negras have had difficulty qualifying for the FIFA World Cup finals, but have made it to the Africa Cup of Nations twice (2008, 2010).
