Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:

Mirandes

Mirandes

Racing Santander

Racing Santander

Following a 2-2 draw with Eldense, Mirandes will look to climb to the automatic promotion berth when they face Racing Santander on Saturday evening. Los Rojillos are eyeing their third consecutive win at home ground and they are likely to adopt yet another attack-minded approach. There are no fresh injury worries in the home team ahead of Santander’s visit. Los Racinguistas, on the other hand, aim to overtake Levante in top position.

Racing Santander are the most successful visitors, but given Mirandes’ almost perfect home record, a close encounter is on the horizon. You should bear in mind that under 2.5 goals have been netted in each of the previous four meetings between the two sides. Racing Santander forward Pablo Rodriguez serves a one-game ban due to accumulation of yellow cards, while midfielder Inigo Sainz-Maza has yet to overcome his injury.

Highlighted Team (Mirandes):

Mirandes

Mirandes is a Spanish club founded on May 3, 1927. Los Rojillos compete in Segunda division, with the team still eyeing their first ever promotion to La Liga. Mirandes’ home colours are red and black, while their away kit is mainly light blue.

Mirandes did remarkably well to make it to the Copa del Rey semis in the 2019/20 season, with the team outplaying the likes of Celta, Villarreal, and Sevilla in the process. Real Sociedad, though, proved to be a big catch for Mirandes in the Spanish Cup semis. Los Rojillos welcome their rivals at Estadio Municipal de Anduva. The stadium was opened back in 1950, with the venue being able to host 5,759 spectators.

Mirandes played their first game on June 4, 1927, with the team defeating Arabarra thanks to Fidel Angulo’s goal. Zaragoza and Alaves are considered one of the club’s main rivals. Los Rojillos have won Castilla and Leon Cup on two occasions (2011, 2012).
