Mirandes vs Amorebieta Prediction & Betting Tips | 02/06/2024 | Football

Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:

Mirandes

Mirandes

Amorebieta

Amorebieta

La Liga 2 survival will be at stake when Mirandes and Amorebieta square off against each other at Estadio Municipal de Anduva on Sunday. Mirandes are one point away from securing the Segunda Division survival and we are positive that the hosts are going to adopt a defence-minded approach against Amorebieta. Sergio Barcia limped off with injury in a 2-2 draw with Albacete, with Barbu likely to step up.

The Basques, on the other hand, face a must-win situation in the decider. As Amorebieta have no other option but to go all guns blazing at Mirandes, we predict that los Rojillos will have a number of opportunities to seal the victory on the break. Both Felix Garreta and Angel Troncho are out of contention with injuries for the visiting team, while fit-again defender Jorge Mier should start from the bench once again.

Highlighted Team (Mirandes):

Mirandes

Mirandes is a Spanish club founded on May 3, 1927. Los Rojillos compete in Segunda division, with the team still eyeing their first ever promotion to La Liga. Mirandes’ home colours are red and black, while their away kit is mainly light blue.

Mirandes did remarkably well to make it to the Copa del Rey semis in the 2019/20 season, with the team outplaying the likes of Celta, Villarreal, and Sevilla in the process. Real Sociedad, though, proved to be a big catch for Mirandes in the Spanish Cup semis. Los Rojillos welcome their rivals at Estadio Municipal de Anduva. The stadium was opened back in 1950, with the venue being able to host 5,759 spectators.

Mirandes played their first game on June 4, 1927, with the team defeating Arabarra thanks to Fidel Angulo’s goal. Zaragoza and Alaves are considered one of the club’s main rivals. Los Rojillos have won Castilla and Leon Cup on two occasions (2011, 2012).
