Our forecast for this MLS game:
Player in the spotlight (Hector Herrera):
Hector Herrera, a 26-year-old midfielder, is a member of the Mexican national team and currently plays for the top Portuguese team FC Porto. He started his professional career in 2010 with Pachuca and later transferred to Porto after three years. Although he initially faced challenges in getting playing time with the team, Herrera eventually solidified his spot in the starting lineup and has become a key player for the club.
Since then, Herrera has accumulated more than 110 appearances for the Portugal team, netting over 20 goals in the course of his career. He has been a full-fledged member of the Mexico national team since 2012 and also played for his country in the 2014 World Cup.
In the summer of 2016, there were many rumors about Herrera leaving Porto and joining Italian team Napoli. It was reported that he even reached a personal agreement with Napoli, but the asking price of €25 million was too high and ultimately caused the deal to fall through.
