Hannover 96 is a German football club from the city Hannover. The club is currently active in the highest German football division the Bundesliga. Hannover 96 hosts it’s home games in the HDI Arena which holds the capacity of 49 000 seats. The current manager of Hannover 96 is Thomas Doll. The main club colors are Red, Blackand White. The club was founded in 1896 and is called Die Roten by its supporters.

Unlike the form of Hannover 96 in the last 20/30 years the club had several big succeses in their history winning the Bundesliga twice (in 1938 and 1954) and the DFB Pokal once in 1992. Hannover 96 got into the news on 10 november 2009 when goalkeeper Robert Enke decided to commit suicide.
