Buoyed by a 2-1 win over Harrogate, Grimsby Town will look to give fans yet another reason to celebrate when they face Port Vale on Sunday afternoon. The Mariners have a chance to climb to the playoffs places and they are likely to go all guns blazing at the Valients. Iceland forward Jason Svanthorsson is widely expected to return to the starting XI after scoring the winner as a substitute in the Boxing Day clash.

Port Vale, on the other hand, are eager to retain second place in the standings, but given their six-game winless run in the English second tier, we do not believe that they are capable of grabbing more than one point from the round 23 clash. Midfielder Thomas Sang is banned for the visiting team, while Ryan Croasdale should miss out through injury. Ruari Paton is expected to sneak into the starting XI.
