Farense will be aiming to build on a 2-1 win over Famalicao when they take on Guimaraes in the Primeira Liga round 16. Os Leoes de Faro are eager to escape the relegation zone and they are likely to fight tooth and nail against Guimaraes. Defender Lucas Africo is banned for the hosts, while goalkeeper Luiz Felipe remains on the sidelines with a long-term cruciate ligament injury.

Os Vimaranenses, on the other hand, are eager to put an end to their three-game winless run. As Guimaraes have been struggling on the travels of late, we are tempted to put our money on the relegation strugglers, who want this win more than the visitors.
