Everton and Tottenham square off against each other at Goodison Park in what is expected to be an interesting Premier League game. The Toffees suffered a 1-0 loss to Aston Villa on David Moyes’ return to Goodison Park, but it has to be noted that they failed to turn their dominance into goals in the second half. All Dwight McNeil, Seamus Coleman, Tim Iroegbunam, Youssef Chermiti, and James Garner are out of contention with injuries for the home team.

Spurs, on the other hand, aim to bounce back from a heart-breaking loss to Arsenal. Tottenham, though, have already suffered six defeats on the road this term, which is probably the main reason why we are going to bet on David Moyes’ troops. You should know that Everton are undefeated in the previous five meetings with Tottenham in Liverpool. The likes of Rodrigo Bentancur, Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero, Ben Davies, Destiny Udogie, Wilson Odobert, and Guglielmo Vicario miss out with injuries for the away team.

Over the years Son Heung-Min has established himself as one of the best Asian footballers. Son is a Tottenham Hotspur first-team regular and he played a very important role in Mauro Pochettino’s team in the 2017/2018 Premier League campaign, scoring 12 goals, while making 37 appearances in the process.

The South Korean footballer, who is well known for his speed and a very powerful shot, was born in Chuncheo on 8 July 1992 and he began his youth career at FC Seoul. In 2008 he moved to Hamburger SV, but he made his senior debut for the Bundesliga club two years later. In 2013 he signed a deal with fellow German side Bayer Leverkusen and he scored 21 goals in 62 appearances in the Bundesliga for the BayArena outfit.

In 2015 he signed a five-year contract with Spurs for a fee of £22 million. Son Heung-min made his South Korea debut in a friendly against Syria in 2010.

The Toffees play their home matches at Goodison Park, the stadium that was opened in 1892. Everton have won the national championship nine times, with the team winning their last domestic trophy back in 1987.

The Toffees have clinched five FA Cup trophies as well and it has to be noted that a victory over Manchester United in the 1994/1995 FA Cup final helped the team win their last title in the prestigious competition. Everton and Liverpool face each other in the Merseyside derby and the clash between the two local rivals has been called the Merseyside derby since 1955.
