Following three consecutive draws in the Serie B, Brescia will be aiming to return to winning ways when they take on Lecco on Matchday 37. Le Rondinelle are determined to book their spot in the playoffs and they are seen as hot favourites to win Sunday’s clash. Both Gabriele Moncini and Davide Adorni are sidelined with injuries, while Giacomo Olzer and Lorenzo Andrenacci remain doubtful.

The visitors, on the other hand, failed to secure the Serie B survival and given their three-game losing run in the Italian second tier, anything but a routine home win would be a big surprise. To make things even worse for the visiting side, experienced midfielder Franco Lepore is banned for the match following his sending-off in a 1-0 loss to Sampdoria. Forward Giacomo Beretta should miss out with injury, while Robert Inglese is pushing for a rare start.

Atalanta are considered one of the club’s fiercest rivals, with the two teams facing each other in the Derby of Lombardy. The Stadio Mario Rigamonti outfit have rivalries with the likes of Inter, Hellas Verona and Cremonese as well. Roberto Baggio, who has 56 caps with the Italy national football team, is considered the most famous footballer who played for Brescia.

Robi scored 45 goals in 95 appearances in the Serie A for le Rondinelle. It has to be noted that the likes of Andrea Pirlo, Gheorge Hagi, Pep Guardiola, Luca Toni, Luigi Di Biagio and Dario Hubner were part of Brescia in the past as well. However, Mario Rigamonti is the club’s biggest legend as he died in the Superga air disaster back in 1949.
