Austin FC have been having their ups and downs of late, with the team beating Minnesota United, losing to Sporting Kansas City, while sharing the spoils with Austin FC. Los Verdes are eager to climb to the playoffs berth, but Sunday’s game will be anything but a walk in the park for the home team. Colombia midfielder Jhojan Valencia is widely expected to return to the starting XI, while Diego Rubio serves a one-game ban.

The Blue Pigeons, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Orlando City and CF Montreal, but seeing that they were beaten by both Los Angeles Galaxy and Nashville SC in the last two away games, the share of spoils is on the cards at Q2 Stadium.
