Brian Hales, the coach who led Butler’s football team to a state championship, has resigned from his position as the school’s head coach.

Brian Hales is not the most experienced coach in Mecklenburg County anymore. On Monday, Hales announced on Butler High School’s X football account that he will be resigning from the position.
