Rolesville, also the leader out of the 919 area code, is at the top of the preseason rankings for North Carolina.

The Rams return 18 total starters from last fall’s 12-2 team. Rolesville has four wide receivers with Division I FBS offers, two running backs with FBS offers, and a tight end with FBS offers. Additionally, their quarterback Braden Atkinson is committed to Division I FCS Mercer. On Rolesville’s defense, there are multiple players with FBS offers as well. Junior edge rusher Zavion Griffin-Haynes is a 4-star prospect. The Rams picked up a defensive line transfer in Xavier Lewis, who won back-to-back Cap-6 Conference player of the year awards.

Providence Day, which has won three consecutive N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association Division I state championships, has seemingly reloaded after graduating an impressive senior group. New starting quarterback Zaid Lott, a junior, is already committed to UNC. David Sanders, commonly considered a top five recruit in the country, is back for his senior season.
