Reidsville running back Jariel Cobb commits to Air Force

Air Force has picked up a 2025 commitment from Reidsville running back Jariel Cobb.

Cobb, a 2023 2A state champion, announced the decision on Wednesday afternoon via social media.

The 5-foot-10 senior’s recruiting process included offers from Appalachian State, Bucknell, Cornell, Dartmouth, Gardner-Webb, Georgetown, Maine, Marshall, Morgan State, Navy, and North Carolina Central.

A year ago, Cobb carried the ball 154 times for the Rams, rushing for 1,213 yards and 17 touchdowns. Over the past two seasons, he has accumulated over 1,500 career all-purpose yards.

On the defensive side of the ball, Cobb is credited with 81 career tackles.

Reidsville went 15-1 a season ago and is pursuit of a second consecutive state title.
