Lejeune High School has a new head football coach for the 2024 season.

According to a report by Chris Miller of the Jacksonille Daily News, Aaron Wells has taken over the position from George Markle.

Wells is 42 years old.

As Miller pointed out, Wells is the Devilpups’ eighth head coach since 2014.

For the previous seven seasons, Wells was the head football coach at Edgren Middle High School at the Misawa Air Base in Japan. He has been a football coach in some capacity for 12 years.

Wells and his family moved to the area recently. He has already served as a teacher and baseball coach for the Devilpups.
