From being next to Wake Forest, to enrolling at Wake Forest.

Rolesville rising senior Caitlyn Jones, the MVP of the N.C. High School Athletic Association’s 4A girls basketball championship, announced over the weekend on Instagram that she was committing to the Demon Deacons.

The point guard earned first-team all-state recognition from HSOT by averaging 23.1 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 4.8 apg, and 4.0 spg on 46-29-68 shooting splits. She is a two-time HSOT all-state pick, having earned third-team honors as a sophomore in which she averaged 18.1 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 4.4 steals.

Rolesville won the first championship of any program in school history (which has since been doubled-up by the Rams’ girls outdoor track & field team) and finished 27-5 overall, earning a top-10 finish in the final HSOT statewide top 25.
