Jimmy Randazzo will attend and play football at Yale University. The 6-foot-5, 300-pound offensive tackle is one of the best lineman in the Charlotte metro.

The class of 2025 prospect announced his commitment to his X account on Tuesday.

He has achieved an impressive 4.41 GPA.

Yale’s football program competes in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision. The Bulldogs are members of the famed Ivy League Conference.

During his recruitment, the rising senior received verbal scholarship offers from UNC-Charlotte, Yale, Cornell, Davidson, Bryant, Columbia, Maine, Bucknell, Colgate, NC A&T, Dartmouth, Brown, Gardner-Webb, Richmond, Georgetown, and Campbell.

Randazzo was selected to the 2023 HighSchoolOT All-State Football Team as an honorable mention for his performance throughout the season.

Of course, Randazzo helped Weddington to a 4A state championship last fall. The Warriors finished the season with a 14-2 overall record after defeating Hoggard by a score of 56-21 in the state championship.
