Chambers WR Arrion Concepcion commits to join brother Kevin at NC State

NC State University’s football program has landed a commitment that Wolfpack fans have been waiting for.

Arrion Concepcion, the younger brother of Kevin “KC” Concepcion, announced his decision to run with the pack on his Instagram account on Sunday.

Concepcion attends Chambers High School in Charlotte. He is a member of the class of 2025. The recruiting service On3 lists him at 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds.

KC was named the ACC Rookie of the Year and Second Team All-ACC after a tremendous freshman season with 767 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. NC State was high on KC from the beginning and also recruited Arrion from the early stages of his own recruitment.

Arrion, who also goes by Nunu, is considered a 3-star prospect by On3, Rivals, and 247Sports. 247 is the highest on Nunu, ranking him as the No. 21 rising senior in North Carolina. On3 has him at No. 26 and Rivals has him slotted at No. 34.

Over his sophomore and junior seasons on varsity, Arrion compiled 72 receptions for 923 yards and 12 touchdowns. He also has 146 return yards.

Concepcion is the second North Carolina native to commit to the Wolfpack in the 2025 cycle. The first was Cary tight end Gus Ritchey.

Chambers finished the 2023 season with an 8-4 overall record and took eventual 4A state champion Weddington to the wire in a 14-10 ballgame in the second round.
