Cuthbertson DL Cole Webster picks James Madison

James Madison’s football program landed a commitment from Cuthbertson defensive lineman Cole Webster last week.

Webster made his announcement on social media following what he called “an amazing official visit” at James Madison.

“Thank you to all the coaches who have helped me along the way,” Webster posted.

Webster is a 6-foot-3, 280-pound defensive lineman at Cuthbertson, who is expected to play defensive tackle in college. He is a rising senior as a member of the Class of 2025.

In 11 games last season, Webster recorded 73 total tackles, including 14 tackles for loss and six sacks. He also recorded two pass deflections and one fumble recovery.

Webster chose James Madison over offers from Austine Peay, Brown, Cornell, Davidson, Emory & Henry College, Fayetteville State, Gardner-Webb, Harvard, Lenoir-Rhyne, Maine, NC A&T, Northern Illinois, Old Dominion, The Citadel, UNC-Prembroke, and Yale.
