After dropping two points in a 1-1 draw with Austin, Los Angeles FC will look to melt Real Salt Lake’s advantage in the Western Conference when they face San Jose Earthquakes on Sunday. The Black and Gold Falcons are eyeing their fifth consecutive win at home ground, but they will have to prove their worth on the field. Sierra Leone forward Kei Kamara is pushing for a start after scoring as a substitute against Austin FC, while midfielder Timothy Tillman serves a one-game ban.

The Earthquakes, on the other hand, are stuck at the bottom of the standings and given their three-game losing run in MLS, anything but a routine home win would be a big surprise. San Jose Earthquakes are members of the Western Conference of Major League Soccer. The Quakes have been participating in the league since 1996 and they won their first MLS Cup trophy in 2001.
