East Carolina University’s football program picked up an in-state commitment from a tall tight end on Sunday night.

Apex High School standout Kaleb Morrow took to his social media accounts to commit to the Pirates.

Morrow is listed at 6-foot-6 and 240 pounds.

As a junior in 2023, Morrow caught 30 passes for 382 yards and two touchdowns. As a sophomore, Morrow scored four touchdowns and had 85 yards on just eight receptions.

He had 15 total tackles and 1.5 sacks as a rotational defensive end last season.

Apex finished the 2023 season with a 7-4 overall record. The Cougars fell on the road at New Bern in the first round of the N.C. High School Athletic Association’s 4A East playoffs by a score of 51-35.

Over his recruitment, Morrow as offered by Charlotte, Temple, Towson, the Pirates, Middle Tennessee State, Elon, Appalachian State, Charleston Southern, Marshall, Wofford, and Bryant.
