With the N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association athletic season now done, we look back on the titles won by each school in each classification.
Note that in some sports, the NCISAA breaks up its teams into DI and DII and sometimes DIII because too few schools participate.

Providence Day, Charlotte Latin, and Charlotte Country Day tied for the most state titles by a 4A school. Forsyth Country Day had the most among the 3A schools, Davidson Day led 2A, and nine different 1A schools had one title apiece.
