Due to the upcoming Veterans Day holiday on Saturday and potential rain in certain areas of the state on Friday evening, a few schools have rescheduled their second round football playoff games to Thursday night.

The games for Round 2 have been rescheduled to Thursday.

• Game between Mountain Island Charter (ranked 16th) and Robbinsville (ranked 1st) at 7:00 p.m. in West 1A.

• The Northampton County team will face the Tarboro team at 7:00 p.m. in 1A East.

• In the 1A East division, the Perquimans team with a record of 10 wins will play against the Lakewood team with 7 wins at 7:00 p.m.

• Holmes will face off against Northeastern at 7:00 p.m. in the 2A East match-up, with Holmes ranked 18th and Northeastern ranked 2nd.

• 2A West: (23) Lincolnton @ (7) Shelby — 7:30 p.m.

• West Stokes (16) will face off against Reidsville (1) tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the 2A West division.

• Maiden High School will be facing off against Salisbury High School at 7:30 PM in the 2A West division, with a score of 15 to 2.
