Duke and Kansas, the two winningest men’s basketball programs in the nation since the 1997-98 season, will meet in November.
The teams are set to play Nov. 26 in the Vegas Showdown at T-Mobile Arena on ESPN, the network announced Thursday.
The Blue Devils and the Jayhawks have played each other 14 times in their history with Duke winning eight. Kasnas has won four of the last five, including their most recent meeting — in November 2022 in the Champions Classic in Indianapolis.
Furman and Seattle will play each other as part of the Vegas Showdown. Duke will then host Seattle on Nov. 29.
The Blue Devils are betting favorites at some sportsbooks to win the 2025 national championship.
Kansas is set to play North Carolina at Allen Fieldhouse in Kansas on Nov. 8. UNC will host Kansas in Chapel Hill in November 2025 as part of a home-and-home series.
CBS Sports’ Matt Norlander reported that Kansas and NC State have also agreed to a home-and-home series in 2024 and 2025. The 2024 game will be at Kansas on Dec. 14 with the 2025 game in Raleigh.
