Round two of the Stanley Cup playoffs will begin in New York.
The National Hockey League announced the second round series in the Stanley Cup Playoffs between the Carolina Hurricanes and New York Rangers will start on Sunday at 4 p.m.
Games 1 and 2 will be played at Madison Square Garden; games 3 and 4 would be in Raleigh, with games 5, 6 and 7 as needed. Broadcast information will be announced when available.
The first team to win four advances to the Eastern Conference Finals.
The Rangers, who swept the Washington Capitals in the first round, won a franchise-high 55 games in the 2023-24 regular season, including a 2-1 record against Carolina.
