Rolesville High School center Gavin Marks reported an offer from NC Central University’s football program on April 2. It was the fifth offer for Marks and the first from an in-state program. He has since picked up two more out-of-state offers to raise his total to seven.

A rising senior and the member of the class of 2025, Marks is a 6-foot-2, 295-pound center for the Rams. His other offers have come from Maryland, Bethune-Cookman, Troy, Cornell, Mercer, and Air Force.

Marks was an honorable mention selection to the 2023 HighSchoolOT All-State Football Team.

Rolesville finished last fall with a 12-2 overall record and won the NAC 6 Conference. The Rams fell to Cardinal Gibbons in fourth round of the N.C. High School Athletic Association’s 4A East playoffs.
