Our prediction for this Championship match:

Ipswich

Ipswich

Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough

After failing to turn their dominance into victory in a goalless draw with Watford, Ipswich Town will be aiming to return to winning ways in the Championship when they take on Middlesbrough on Matchday 43. The Tractor Boys have won five of their last six home games, but their performance in early April have been anything but good. George Edmundson limped off with injury in the midweek clash, with Luke Woolfenden likely to sneak into the starting XI, while there are no fresh injury worries in the home team.

The Boro, on the other hand, aim to move closer to the playoffs berth and given their four-game unbeaten run on the road, we predict that they are going to grab something from Saturday’s clash. Middlesbrough’s injury list is still pretty long, including the likes of Dael Fry, Patrick McNair, Hayden Hackney, and Riley McGree, to name just a few.

Highlighted Player (Vaclav Hladky):

Vaclav Hladky

Born in Brno on November 14, 1990, Vaclav Hladky is a Czech footballer who plays for Scottish Premier League club St Mirren as a goalkeeper. Hladky spent his youth career at the likes of FC Sparta Brno, FK Sardice, and FC Zbrojovka Brno, and he continued playing for the Zbrojovka Brno reserve team at the senior level.

The 192-cm-tall shot-stopper played for the likes of MSK Breclav (loan) Sparta Brno, FK Sardice, FC Zbrojovka Brno (senior team), and Slovan Liberec before signing a contract with St Mirren. The Czech goalkeeper made his Scottish Premiership debut on January 23, 2019, in a 4-0 loss at Celtic.

Hladky played for the Czech Republic youth teams as well, but he has yet to earn a call-up for the Czech Republic senior team. Vaclav Hladky wears the No. 1 shirt at St Mirren, and his preferred foot is right.

Highlighted Team (Middlesbrough):

Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough is a professional football club that have been balancing between the top two divisions of England’s league system in the modern history. Boro have been playing their home games at the Riverside Stadium since 1995 and their shirt colour is red. The capacity of the Riverside Stadium is 34,742. Middlesbrough impressed in the 2015/2016 Championship campaign and they did really well to secure promotion to the English top flight. Newcastle United and Sunderland are regarded as the club’s main rivals, but there is a rivalry with Leeds United as well.

Middlesbrough made it to the FA Cup final in 1997, but Chelsea proved to be a big catch for the Boro in the title game (0-2). However, the Riverside Stadium outfit did remarkably well to win the League Cup trophy in 2004, with the team beating Bolton Wanderers in the final. George Boateng, Stewart Downing, Juninho Paulista, Gareth Southgate, Jonathan Woodgate, Yakubu Aiyegbeni, Tuncay Sanli and Hamilton Ricard are the star footballers who left their mark at Middlesbrough.
