Here are some options for streaming this week: Taylor Swift’s latest performance, Justin Timberlake’s concert, new episodes of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, and MLB The Show 24 game.

Season 20 of “Grey’s Anatomy” is set to premiere, and new albums by Justin Timberlake and Kacey Musgraves will soon be available to watch, listen to, or play on your device.

Additionally, our team at The Associated Press recommends checking out these streaming options: “The Girls on the Bus,” a drama/comedy featuring Melissa Benoist about female journalists covering a presidential campaign, “The Eras Tour” concert film by Taylor Swift now available on Disney+, and the third season of “Girls5Eva” moving from Peacock to Netflix.

Taylor Swift’s concert film, “The Eras Tour,” will now be available on Disney+ on Thursday, one day earlier than the previously announced date. The streaming version includes five new songs, such as “Cardigan.” The tour, which grossed more than $262 million worldwide, was a huge success at the box office and was released by AMC Theaters, breaking the traditional Hollywood studio model. Music writer Maria Sherman praised the film in her review, stating that it was a faithful representation of Swift’s live performance, spanning her entire career of 17 years and 10 studio albums. She also noted that it gave viewers the chance to experience the best seat in the house from any seat in the theater.

Carla Gutiérrez, editor of “RBG,” makes her directorial debut with “Frida,” a thought-provoking depiction of artist Frida Kahlo told through her own words. Gutiérrez utilized Kahlo’s personal diary entries, correspondence, essays, and paintings to guide the story, exploring her upbringing, marriage, fashion, accident, and, most notably, her art. Prior to the film’s premiere at Sundance, Gutiérrez told the AP, “By delving into her own words and her own voice, I believe that we are offering a fresh perspective on her world and gaining a more intimate, unpolished understanding of her art.” The film will be available for streaming on Prime Video beginning Thursday.

Nicolas Cage takes on a subdued role in Kristoffer Borgli’s “Dream Scenario” as Paul Matthews, an ordinary college professor, husband, and father whose life is disrupted when countless strangers start dreaming about him. In her review for the Associated Press, Jocelyn Noveck noted that Borgli, a Norwegian writer-director making his English-language debut with the co-production of Ari Aster, is aiming to make a broader statement about the nature of fame. While the topic may not be unique, it is well-suited for exploration in the right hands – particularly with an unpredictably creative actor like Cage. The film suggests that fame can be alluring, but can also quickly turn against you. It will be available for streaming on Max on Friday, March 15. Additionally, “Trolls Band Together” will be released on Peacock on March 14 for the younger audience.

— With each album she releases, Kacey Musgraves demonstrates to her loyal listeners that there are no boundaries in her creative process. The same fan who found her on the celebratory country-as-heck LGBT+ anthem “Follow Your Arrow” from 2013’s “Same Trailer Different Park” followed her through new psychedelic-disco-pop pastures on 2018’s “Golden Hour,” the album that took home the top prize at the 2019 Grammys. Then she pivoted again: with 2021’s “star-crossed,” a meditation on divorce and autonomy, with an uncanny ability to break hearts in less than 15 words: “If this was a movie, love would be enough,” she sings. “But it’s not a movie.” Which brings us to “Deeper Well.” Musgraves’ is once again paving her own path: her country has become folk, her songs are pretty and delicate with lyrics that find profundity in mundanity. It is soft and classic sounding, with hyper-specific language of the current moment. Maybe it dates these songs, maybe it plants them firmly in Musgraves’ reality. Whatever the case, they are affecting.

“In his most recent solo album, “Man of the Woods,” released in 2018, Justin Timberlake took inspiration from Americana sounds as he sought to evolve musically. However, it was met with widespread criticism as many viewed it as a superficial attempt at innovation, using typical rural country imagery to reflect his new role as a father. With the release of “Everything I Thought It Was,” his first album in six years, JT has taken a complete turn. He has returned to the R&B-pop sounds of the 2000s that initially propelled him to superstardom. This is evident in the first singles, “Selfish” and “Drown,” which showcase Timberlake’s unique falsetto against moody and dreamy backgrounds. The album also contains some unexpected collaborations, including his former boy band *NSYNC, Tobe Nwigwe, and Afrobeats sensation Fireboy DML.”

“Throughout its run, the cast of ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” has experienced monumental advancements in medicine, critical emergencies, workplace romances, personnel changes, and three alterations to the hospital’s name. As the beloved medical drama returns on Thursday, we eagerly anticipate what’s to come in season 20 after production was delayed due to the Hollywood strikes. This season, Ellen Pompeo, known for her role as Dr. Meredith Grey, will not be a main character but will make cameo appearances. Shonda Rhimes’ other ABC series, the firefighter drama “Station 19,” is also back for its seventh and final season on Thursday. Both shows can be streamed on Hulu the following day.”

A new book by Liane Moriarty has been adapted into a TV show. In “Apples Never Fall” on Peacock, Annette Bening portrays a mother and wife who disappears, causing her grown children to question their father (played by Sam Neill). The show also features Jake Lacy and Alison Brie. The entire series is released on Thursday.

The third season of the musical comedy “Girls5Eva” will now be available on Netflix, having previously aired on Peacock. The show follows a 90s girl group that experienced a brief moment of fame and is now attempting to reclaim their celebrity status years later. Executive produced by Tina Fey, the series stars Sara Bareilles, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Paula Pell, and Busy Philipps. The six episodes of the third season will be released on Thursday, and the first two seasons can also be streamed on Netflix.

A new political thriller on Apple TV+, titled “Manhunt,” examines the assassination of Abraham Lincoln by John Wilkes Booth. Tobias Menzies portrays Edwin Stanton, a former Secretary of War, who was in charge of the manhunt for Booth following Lincoln’s murder. The limited series is adapted from James L. Swanson’s book, “Manhunt: The 12-Day Chase for Lincoln’s Killer,” and will debut on Friday, March 15.

A new dramedy, premiering on Thursday on Max, follows a group of female reporters on a presidential campaign. “The Girls on the Bus” features Melissa Benoist as Sadie McCarthy, a newspaper journalist who admires traditional journalism and looks up to Hunter S. Thompson. She is joined by Carla Gugino, a veteran print reporter known for getting the scoop, Christina Elmore, a broadcast reporter at a conservative network, and Natasha Behnam, a young journalist who uses modern methods such as Substack, sponsors, and social media to connect with her audience. This timely series captures the excitement of an election year and the unique experiences of female reporters covering it.

“Call the Midwife,” a beloved show on PBS, will be returning for its 13th season on Sunday, March 17. The historical drama, narrated by Vanessa Redgrave, chronicles the lives of nurses, midwives, and nuns in London’s East End. The inspiration for the show comes from Jennifer Worth’s memoir, “Call the Midwife: A True Story of the East End in the 1950s.” The new season, set in 1969, will now be available to stream on PBS’s station-branded platforms such as PBS.org and the PBS App.

Many popular sports video games offer gradual improvements each season, but Sony has taken a unique approach with MLB The Show 24 by including a female player option. The “Women Pave Their Way” storyline allows players to create a female baseball player and follow her journey to the major leagues. Other additions to the game include a tribute to Derek Jeter and a playable documentary on the Negro Leagues in its second season. Along with the usual updates to gameplay and animation, the focus this year is on improving the realism of fielding. The cover model for this edition is Toronto Blue Jays player Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Those who purchase the digital deluxe edition will have the chance to throw the first pitch on March 15th on PlayStation 5/4, Xbox X/S/One, or Nintendo Switch.
