Apex has now been included in the top 25 rankings for Boys Lacrosse, while adjustments have been made to the top 10 positions.
Inclement conditions prevented several boys’ lacrosse teams from playing last week, but there were still enough outcomes to influence the current HighSchoolOT rankings.
The newest addition to the top 25 rankings is Apex. They have taken the spot previously held by Pinecrest, whom they beat in the first week.
This week’s most notable outcomes included a victory for Christ School against Middle Creek and a win for Cardinal Gibbons against Lake Norman.
The outcomes of the direct matchups influenced the rankings of the top 10 teams. Greenies rose to sixth place while Gibbons and Catholic also saw a climb as Lake Norman dropped from second to fourth. Marvin Ridge and Northwest Guilford suffered defeats against other ranked teams, resulting in a drop from their preseason positions.
