After a hectic stretch of predicting basketball playoffs and previewing spring sports, it is refreshing to focus on football once more. However, determining basketball playoff placements can be difficult due to factors such as teams playing each other twice, complicated tiebreaker rules, and the “no leapfrogging” rule. This process can be time-consuming.
On Monday, The Huddle will resume its usual Monday schedule and focus on the notable Division II signing classes this cycle. Many players who were previously recruited by Division I schools are now choosing to attend North Carolina’s Division II programs. This will be an interesting topic to explore.
