The basketball playoffs for the N.C. High School Athletic Association will commence on Tuesday evening, and HighSchoolOT provides all necessary information to begin. A total of 512 teams will be participating tonight, with hopes of advancing to the second round.

The NCHSAA basketball state playoffs will have a different schedule this year than in previous years. Instead of three games, there will only be two in the first week.

• February 27th: First round games will be played at the higher seeded team’s location.

• On March 1st, the games for the second round will be played at the location of the team with the higher ranking.

• March 5th: Third round matches at the higher seeded team’s location

• On March 8, the games for the fourth round will take place at the higher seeded team’s location.

• From March 11-14, the regional championships and state semifinals will be held at the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem.

• On March 15-16, the state championships will take place at the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem.
